teaching

it is not possible to teach someone,
you can just help someone
to discover it by himself
(Galileo Galilei)

The spectrum of my teaching is in the range of design of digital media (interactive installations, tangible interfaces), digital media in art and education, semiotics of the media, theory of media and history of early digital art.

Projects
Lectures & Seminars

Project work is organized for small groups meeting 8 hour per week.
Study projects constitute a special part of the study programs in computer science and digital media. The curricula are designed such, that all friday is dedicated to project work: Friday ist project day! There are no other lectures this day. The project work is geared at products. The end of a one-semester-project is a special event: Results are presented to the public. They are documented in a final report.

Lectures are usually meetings of 2 hours per week.

Seminars are usually meetings of 4 hours per week.
All courses comprise workshops: assignments, prototypical developments, programming.
